Our Returns Policy
As Kairos grows, we’re seeing increasing demand for tickets to our events. Since we keep participant numbers intentionally small, this means we’re now regularly reaching capacity, sometimes weeks in advance.
In light of this, and since we understand that sometimes arrangements change and people get sick, we’ve decided to firm up our returns policy.
We want to encourage you to book in advance, since that helps us to plan, particularly with the cooking. But we’d also like you to make a firm commitment to turn up. We want to give you an incentive to let us know as soon as possible if you aren’t going to make it. But also to tell us even if you have to cancel at the last minute, as we may still be able to give your space to someone else. We want to be fair, and we want to minimise our costs and admin.
So, after some thought, we’ve decided that the clearest, fairest, least admin-heavy arrangement is this:
- If you’ve booked for an event and can no longer make it, please email us on events@kairos.london more than 24 hours in advance and we’ll give you a credit for another event.
- If it’s less that 24 hours before the event you won’t get a credit but we’d still be really grateful if you’d let us know.
- To make use of your credit, choose the “I have a credit” ticket option when you next book.
Please note that in line with our general antipathy towards technology, this system will not be automated. It will rely on someone reading your email, adding your name to a list pinned to our office noticeboard and crossing it off when you rebook. It won’t always work – we may forget to add you to the list or forget to cross you off. If you’re lucky, your email might land when we’re in a particularly good mood and decide to give you a full refund just for the hell of it. Hopefully, it should all balance out in the end. If not, we will humbly think again.
