Friday Night Music with Jessie Maryon Davies
Friday April 10th
Doors & drinks 6pm; Performance starts 7pm
Join us for a joyful evening of comedy and music with Jessie Maryon Davies. Jessie’s playful set of original and self deprecating songs like “Splashing the Patriarchy” and a “Lament for a Squashed Snail” will draw upon her years of experience as a choral leader, musical director and community energiser.
Following her performance, there'll be a chance to take part in writing a brand new song that will challenge our self esteem and deepen our collective creativity. After the songwriting session, at around 8.15, there will be a one-pot vegan supper served at the bar.
Friday Night Music is our series of relaxed drinks evenings featuring a short musical set followed by food and socialising. Come before 7pm to enjoy the performance and participation, or after 8.15pm if you just want to join us for supper and/or drinks. Entry is free after 8.15pm. The bar is open for drinks until 11pm.
