Sewing Club: Moth Hole Repairs & Visible Mends

Tuesday October 24th, 7-10pm

This is the first meeting of our new sewing club where we'll be altering and repairing our cloths and taking on other sewing projects.

In this first session, hosted by Anouchka Grose and Zoë Blackler, we'll be fixing moth holes and exploring visible mending, including the Japanese art of Shashiko.

No previous sewing experience required, we'll learn together. Any used cloth or other materials you're willing to donate most gratefully received.

We'll make a big potluck salad, so bring some fresh ingredients to share (no processed food or plastic packaging please), plus whatever you'd like to drink.

Free entry but please sign up so we know to expect you. If you'd like to make a donation on the night of £5, some used cloth or any other sewing materials, we'd be most grateful.
