Screening of “Naila and the Uprising” with Nadia Yahlom

Kairos is taking part in a day of coordinated screenings of Palestinian films around the world, Palestine Cinema Days.
We're showing 2017 documentary "Naila and the Uprising" (1hr 16 mins, dir:Julia Bacha), which chronicles the remarkable journey of Naila Ayesh and a community of women whose stories weave through the nonviolent mobilisation behind the First Intifada in the late 1980s.
The screening will be followed by discussion led by Nadia Yahlom. Nadia is a Palestinian-Jewish and British artist, researcher and curator, and co-founder of Sarha Collective. Entry is free but please book in advance to ensure a place.
