Kairos Deep Conversations: How Can We Find the Power to Act?

Tuesday July 1st
Doors & drinks at 6.30pm; Event starts at 7pm

We are very sorry that due to a family bereavement Kimberley Hare is no longer able to join us for this event. Dr Charlie Gardner will still be sharing his reflections and leading the full group discussion.

How can we find our agency in a time of climate and ecological breakdown? What can we do and who can we do it with?

Join us - in our lovely and cool, air-conditioned basement! - for an evening of guided conversation about how to find the power to act.

The evening will include a series of structured one-to-one and small group discussions in response to a set of carefully chosen questions, a break for a one-pot vegan supper that we'll eat together, reflections from Charlie Gardner and Kimberley Hare, and a concluding full group discussion.

Dr Charlie Gardner, is a conservationist, activist, writer and researcher and the author of a forthcoming book on what we all can do in response to the climate and nature crisis. Kimberley Hare is founder of the Heart Community Group and the author of "At the Edge: What Is Mine to Do? And Who Can I Do it With?"

This is an invitation to combine theories of change with personal stories, to find empowerment in community, explore our own limits, and build solidarity and understanding.

A big thank you to Georgie Nightingall, creator of Trigger Conversations, who inspired this format.
