As part of our series on fiction and imagination, US-based writer Sandra Newman will be in the UK and at Kairos to discuss how stories can transform the world.
Drawing on her own novels - The Men, an exploration of male power and environmental destruction, and The Heavens, a study of utopia and dystopia – Sandra will talk about whether the stories we tell can determine what will happen in reality, and how we can use imagination to enable a different world.
Her talk will be followed by a one-pot vegan supper and discussion.
